BEFCO hay tedders lift, fluff, and spread hay, essentially to speed up the drying process. The high strength steel tines, catch and disperse the hay evenly, exposing it to air and sunlight. This helps to reduce moisture content, making the hay easier to bale and store.

DRP hay tedders are equipped with two Ø 15″x6″ pneumatic tires.

  • Spring steel tines

Units are equipped with high strength spring steel double tine arms secured with one bolt for fast and easy removal and replacement when its time to replace them. DRP hay tedders have one spring tine per arm, six per rotor, for a total 12 springs per unit.

  • Ratchet torque limiter

Cat. 2 driveline with ratchet torque limiter safety to prevent any damage to unit when tractor PTO is disengaged.

WARRANTY

This equipment is covered by a Limited Warranty provided directly by the manufacturer, BEFCO. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship when the equipment is used and maintained as described in the operator's manual.

Warranty Term BEFCO Specifics (Absolute Terminology)
Duration One (1) year (12 months) from the date of purchase.
Coverage Limited to defective material and workmanship only.
Exclusions Normal wear items are excluded, including but not limited to: blades, bearings, drivelines, shear pins, slip clutches, hydraulic hoses, seals, and tires.
Costs The owner will bear the cost of all normal maintenance, repairs for accidents/improper use, and related labor. The owner is also responsible for costs related to cleaning, transporting, mailing, and service calls.

Critical Warranty Requirements

  • Registration: Warranty registration is accomplished by the dealer completing and forwarding the Warranty Registration form and a copy of the dealer's invoice to BEFCO. It is in your best interest to ensure this has been done.

  • Voidance: The warranty will be voided by improper maintenance, accidents, improper use, or the use of non-original spare parts and accessories.

  • Claim Recourse: This limited warranty covers defective material and workmanship only.
