The Seed-Rite is a premier full-width seed broadcaster designed for efficient seeding across a diverse range of applications, including lawns, golf courses, parks, sports fields, and hay fields. This advanced machine ensures precise seed metering and placement at the optimal depth for effective seed germination. Featuring a robust diameter front corrugated roller, the Seed-Rite effectively levels the surface and prepares an ideal seed bed. Meanwhile, rear corrugated roller, works to incorporate the seeds into the soil while gently applying pressure through two side springs to compact the surface after seeding. The lightweight yet durable nylon and fiberglass composite roller rings, standard with the Seed-Rite, contribute to the machine’s overall reduced weight, making it compatible with lower horsepower tractors for ease of use. For those requiring additional soil pressure, optional cast iron roller rings are available, providing enhanced performance for more demanding seeding tasks. STANDARD FEATURES
Seed-Rite seed hoppers are driven from the bottom roller. Seed is dropped only when the roller begins turning.
Seed calibration handle allows operator to precisely select the amount of seed to spread.
BEFCO’s high precision fluted seed metering cups allow for an always accurate and even distribution of a wide variety of seeds.
All seeders are equipped with nylon / fiberglass corrugated roller rings to compact the ground for optimal seed germination.
Spring-tine tractor tire track removers help break up the ground the tractor tire stepped on and allow for the seed to incorporate into the ground.
Lift hooks allow for quick and easy loading and unloading of seeder to and from your jobsite.
Compatible with ASAE Cat. 1 quick hitches.
